Well, I’ve learned that I didn’t get a BURN magazine grant for this year.  Thus, a “sad face”.  But I’m still happy for those who DID win (so there’s a “happy face” in there, too.)  If I’m going to get really serious about this whole grant process stuff, I’ll need to set up a “tickler file” of some kind to let me know when the deadlines are coming up and suchlike.   This is the first year I’ve applied for grants, and I missed a lot of the deadlines earlier in the year because I didn’t know when the cut-off dates were.  It’s all a learning process.  If I could get just one, though, it would help to “legitimize” this whole project of mine…
