Walking at the Cemetery in the Cool of the Morning

Today, the dogs let me sleep in a little bit, and I didn’t get up until after 6:30 am.  It was cool and breezy outside, so I took Sergeant Margie out for a walk.  We went over to the Old Historic City Cemetery.  There are still quite a few things flowering despite the heat of the day, and all of the cemetery’s crepe myrtle trees are in bloom: pink, deep pink, lavender, and white.  So pretty.  We walked for about 90 minutes and then headed back to the car.
