Yesterday was my first time outside for a walk in a week.  I took Sergeant Margie over to the American River Bend Park, where we walked for about 2 hours.  This time of year there isn’t a whole lot to see (everything is brown, and the fungi aren’t awake yet) but I got a handful of “fall” photos.  Mostly, I just wanted the exercise anyway.  I needed the fresh air and to work up a little bit of a sweat to help me fight my cold.
