On Saturday, I got up early and headed into Woodland to oversee a Volunteer Orientation for Tuleyome. Had four great people show up, so it was a good morning…
Afterward, it was so gorgeous outside that I stopped at the WPA Rock Garden and walked around there for a while. The garden was showing off today; so many pretty things to look at. There were people all over it taking photographs, including a loud chatty, giggly group of Japanese girls who were taking “sexy” photos of one another with the flowers in the background. Wow. Boundaries, ladies, boundaries… Along with all the flowers, I saw all sorts of bees, a couple of large blue dragonflies, some Pipevine Swallowtail butterflies, Painted Lady butterflies, and a Red Admiral butterfly, but they all moved so fast I couldn’t get any decent pictures of them. I only stayed there about an hour, because by then the place was filling up with tourists and it was hard to get a photo without strangers in it…
