A Quiet Walk at the River Bend Park

I woke up around 6:00 this morning, and was out the door with the dog a few minutes later.  We went over to the American River Bend Park for a walk.  First, though, I stopped and put gas in the car.  There wasn’t a lot to see at the park today, but the walk was nice and the temperature was perfect (around 51°) so it was nice.  Saw some jack rabbits and woodpeckers… and the lace lichen was especially pretty today.  I also got a fairly good shot of a Northern Flicker.  The dog and I walked for about 2 hours and then headed back to the car.
