After work, it was nice out, so I took the dog over to William Land Park for a short walk.  Lots of parents out there with their loud kids.  I know it’s a public park, but all that noise doesn’t make for very good nature viewing; it scares all the animals away.  The Hooded Merganser ducks were back – but back down to one male instead of two; and the Great Egret was there.  At one point it actually flew away from where the noisy children were and came over to stand near me.  I guess, even with the dog, I was less of a “threat” to it.  Got a few photos before heading back to the car and going back home.
