I got up around 7:30 this morning and headed over to the American River Bend Park to see if any of the fungi were out yet. It was about 51° and overcast outside. Rain was expected by 11 o’clock so I wanted to get out there and get home again before then.
At the park there wasn’t much of anything fungi-wise out there yet; we need a lot more rain. So that part was a bust. I did get to see a few deer, though, so I wasn’t entirely without photos for the walk.
