Nature picture challenge: 2/7 post a photo every day for one week, and invite a new person each day. This is a California Manroot vine. It’s also called a “Bigfoot” because grows from a tuber in the ground that can weigh up to 200 pounds. The vines have both male and female flowers on it. (The clustering ones you see in this photo are the males.) The “fruit” it produces looks like green globes with soft green spines all over it. Today I will challenge and choose Charlotte Orr.
