Nature picture challenge: 4/7 post a photo every day for one week, and invite a new person each day. This is a Columbian Black-Tailed Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus columbianus) buck in his early-fall coat. (The coat turns grey in the winter.) This is a subspecies of deer found almost exclusively in California. Today I will challenge and choose Charlotte Griswold.
