I have been watching the Genista Broom Moth (Uresiphita reversalis) eggs on the broom plant in the backyard. I could see that some of them are just about ready to hatch, but on another leaf, I found an “aphid lion”, the larva of a Green Lacewing, feasting on some of the eggs and the hatchlings. [#EatLocal] Caterpillars in a more advanced instar were on another branch. It’s like “Wild Kingdom” in that bush. Hah!
